​Tips for a great makeup appointment!


Some glam day tips to make your makeup appointment go smooth.

1. Arrive with a clean, makeup free face. This makes the process go by seamlessly and fast, no one wants to take off your leftover mascara from the night before. 
2. Makeup artist love an inspiration photo to work from. This helps them see what style you’re going for and gives them a jump off point. They can suggest some changes they may think are best for your features. It also helps with the confusion of asking for a “natural” look, everyone’s idea of natural is completely different. 
3. Your opinion matters! Yes we want to make you happy, so if you’re not vibing with something your artist is doing, let them know. Makeup is a collaboration, we would much rather know if you don’t like something, then have you secretly hate it. We want to make you happy!
4. Avoid sunscreen and heavy creams the morning of your appointment. You can put on skincare when you wake up, but be sure it’s something that soaks into the skin and doesn’t sit on top of it.
